Howdy, folks!

My name is Sherring. I’m an introvert who started this blog to have a platform to share my random thoughts, reviews in the form of personal essays on books, movies, and TV shows. Writing is cathartic and it’s somewhat easier to spill my guts to cyber people than it is to speak to real people.

I’m a Haitian-American Brooklynite by way of Boston. I have a BA in Writing, Literature and Publishing with a minor in marketing from Emerson College in Boston and have an MFA in creative nonfiction writing from New School University in New York. Reading and writing are my creative outlets, although reading tips the scales more so than writing. Getting lost in a good book, taking writing workshops, and attending concerts (musical and comedy), are my favorite places to be. Of course, nothing beats being home where I’m surrounded by my books, plants, and knick knacks that I’ve collected over the years during my random adventures.

That last paragraph took a strange turn into sounding like an online dating profile, so allow me to pivot.  Thank you for stopping—and staying—on my blog. Your eyeballs could be anywhere else, but they’re here with me, and I appreciate you.
